Call for Proposals: 2026 Conference of the Canadian Association of African Studies (CAAS)

The Conference of the Canadian Association of African Studies (CAAS) 2026 will be held at Glendon Campus, York University, in Toronto, Canada, from June 9–12, 2026. The conference, themed “Global Africa: Legacies, Change, and Aspirations,” will be a hybrid event, offering both in-person and virtual participation options.

The submission deadline is January 15, 2026. We encourage interested participants, particularly those requiring visas to travel to Canada, to send their abstracts by this deadline.
