African Futures, the 9th European Conference on African Studies is just around the corner. The Call for Panels is now OPEN. Deadline for the submission of abstracts is October 3, 2022.
As Europe’s largest and most international conference with an African focus, ECAS 9 will be held as a face-to-face event from May 31 to June 3, 2023 in Cologne, Germany. ECAS 2023 is complemented by a broad range of cultural events all around the City of Cologne. Panel proposals should be in adherence to the conference theme. “African Futures” aims to explore the continent’s critical engagements with the past, present, and future of Africa’s global entanglements.
