Organising Committee of ECAS 4

In order for the Nordic Academic Community within African Studies to take part in the preparations of ECAS 4, representatives from each of the Nordic countries have been invited to constitute a committee for the academic planning of the conference. Among the main responsibilities of the committee are to have a mobilizing role, identify national fund-raising possibilities, make the selection of panels and give input for potential keynote speakers and plenary sessions.

Administrative/logistical preparations of ECAS 4 is carried out by various staff members of the Nordic Africa Institute. Ms Tania Berger of the NAI Policy and Research Support Unit has the main responsibilty for coordination of the adminstrative/logistical areas including the ECAS 4 Secretariat.
