For generations, the "Tsongas" have been moving from their land of origin to the former colonial city Lourenço Marques (Xilunguine). Many pastors have abandoned their herds to integrate into the big city and have brought their language, customs, music and beliefs, into the new land that will tomorrow be the land of their children and children's children. Today, “Changana” is the most widely spoken language in the city.
